A Safe Haven provides a full continuum of housing to clients and we are available throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. Our commitment to each resident is that he will move through the appropriate level of housing that will best assist in his stage of recovery.  From licensed recovery home to affordable housing, each resident is assigned a place to live that responds to his personal ability to assume responsibility and participate in basic life skills. 

A Safe Haven has provided housing and recovery home services since May 1995 and are fully licensed by the State of Illinois.  We operate eleven multi-residential units, seven of which are licensed recovery home facilities and four of which are affordable housing units (120 apartment units) all located in Chicago.  On a daily basis, we provide services to 800 individuals.  We provide case management, education and support services that offer residents a chance at recovery.
